Christy Roelke is a small-town girl from Oklahoma with an adventurous heart. After graduating nursing school, she joined the United States Army for an adventure of a lifetime. Christy served for nearly eight years during the first Gulf War. During her service Christy met and married the love of her life, fellow soldier named Thomas. Together the Roelke’s traveled all over Europe and the East Coast. After leaving active duty, Christy transitioned from soldier to military spouse. Christy’s new role as military spouse saw numerous relocations over the next 15 years with travels to the Pacific Northwest, Pacific Islands, East Coast and another tour in Europe. In 2012, after twenty-three years serving our country, it was time for Christy’s husband, Tom, to retire. Opportunities in Northern VA were knocking so the Roelke’s made their final move with their daughter and two dogs to Alexandria.
Christy’s dedication and professionalism as a Realtor are due in large part to her vast experiences as a soldier, leader, and manager within the military and Department of Defense. In fact, it is Christy’s extensive professional experiences from both the military and as a Department of Defense civilian which made a perfect transition into real estate. Although she has had many professional experiences, being a Realtor is Christy’s passion. Christy knows all too well the excitement and stressors of moving, and that is why she is dedicated to caring for and serving her clients with the compassion of a nurse and the tenacity of a soldier. When asked why real estate is her passion Christy states, “Buying or selling a home is the ultimate adventure!”.
My Mission Statement:
My philosophy is simple: clients come first. I pledge to be in constant communication with my clients, keeping them fully informed throughout the entire buying or selling process. I believe that if you are not left with an amazing experience, I have not done my job. I do not measure success through achievements or awards, but through the satisfaction of my clients.
